This deicer consists of a 50% aqueous potassium acetate solution with excellent deicing and icing protection properties, even at very low temperatures (-60°C).

UltraBlue KA 50 can be used easily in existing systems.

It is free of nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, chloride and triazole, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly.

UltraBlue KA 50 meets and even exceeds the standards established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for deicer fluids, such as environmental safety, technical standards, efficiency, and effectiveness, as well as the Aerospace Material Specification SAE AMS 1435, and is safe for use on runways, taxiways, and aprons.
